I feel inspired to research all the features I haven't explored yet.
I was so happy to share this amazing experience with my colleague and team member, Viviane Azevedo.
I started learning Power BI in 2017 and learned most of what I know from the Microsoft Data community, which is why I truly appreciate people sharing their knowledge.
We got to meet some heroes from this community. At the meet-and-greet event, we got to thank Adam Saxton and Patrick LeBlanc and take a photo with them. The inspiration is already paying off: since I came home, I watched one of Patrick's DAG videos and created my first DAG orchestrator notebook.
I also met Nikola Ilic whose book I am currently reading.
I was happy to meet Will Needham in-person, we are enrolled in his Fabric Dojo skool community which I recommend. If you don't know about a feature, you can't just Google it when you need it, there are a lot of "unknown unknowns"—features and techniques you aren't even aware exist and the official documentation is not very clear.
We also met Aleksi Partanen whose YT channel is my go to place to learn about data engineering topics, I had just watched the one about Spark settings yesterday.
Catching up with Dániel Gábor Patkós and meeting Ákos Demeter and Tamas Csaba was a heartwarming highlight. These events made me feel like I am part of a supportive global community.
P.S. I already picked out the frame to hang the photos on my wall.

For future reference: The Conference was held from October 15-18 in 2025.
